Apple is gearing up to introduce to the world its upcoming flagship smartphone, apparently called the iPhone XI. Besides the square camera bump, Apple seems to have made other interesting choices for the yet-to-be-released iPhone XI, and one of them is the removal of the lightning port, as we reported earlier.

However, recent case renders of Apple’s iPhone XI have a different story to tell. iPhone XI case renders from Olixar strongly suggest that there is no truth to the rumor of iPhone XI ditching the Lightning connector in favor of USB-C port. Olixar is of the opinion that Apple is going to keep the traditional Lightning connector in the upcoming version of the iPhone.

Another aspect on which the case renders was able to shed some light is the Silent switch of the iPhone. And according to Olixar, the Silent switch will be changed to a Circular slider in Apple’s upcoming iPhone.

Apple’s iPhone XI is expected to launch in September 2019 and that is exactly when we will be able to see the credibility of these rumors.

The Olixar screen cases for iPhone XI is now up for sale on MobileFun, and you can pre-order them from here.
