Developer Amaze Pictures seems to have accomplished a feat which I had believed so far to be impossible – control the volume of the ringer in Windows Phone programmatically.

His app, Quiet Hours, will silence your phone on schedule, allowing you to sleep comfortably without tweets and SMS message notifications waking you up.

imageThe app is free for the basic functionality of silencing your phone (and it does have a live tile with this feature) but includes an in-app purchase to activate the scheduling element.

If that sounds like your thing find Quiet Hours in the Windows Phone Store here.
