The Windows Phone app store is on a roller coaster ride with apps coming and going . The latest app to bite the dust is a local UK app, the Nectar card app. It has been retired due to a lack of users on Windows Phone, while the apps for Android, iOS and Windows will remain in their respective stores.
@Zarniw0Op Hi Philip, due to the lack of users of our App on Windows products we're no longer providing an App…

@Zarniw0Op we're concentrating on the more popular platforms. Thanks ^AS

Interestingly enough, the app still remains available for PCs and tablets running Windows (8, 8.1 or 10). This is a strange move to remove one half of a universal app – especially when Windows 10 has just launched with a renewed emphasis on universal apps.
They could also have just left the app n store even if they chose not to update it for the near future. Ultimately, the apps is gone, and it is unlikely to return.
Do you use the nectar app for Windows Phone? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
Update: The app is now also gone from the Windows store
