Recently we reported that Microsoft Launcher has reached 1 million active users on Play Store and now it looks like the app is heading for a new milestone. Microsoft Launcher has now surpassed 10 million download mark and is going strong.
The company hasn’t released the official numbers yet but according to Google Play Store, Microsoft Launcher has been downloaded 10 million times and is heading for the 50 million download mark. At one point, the app was also in the top trending list on the Play Store which might back the numbers. Undoubtedly, Microsoft has hit a sweet spot with Microsoft Launcher. The app was rebranded from Arrow Launcher and hasn’t looked back since then.
The download numbers are surprising since Play Store is flooded with launchers with the likes of Nova Launcher and Pixel Launcher. Microsoft has managed to turn the tables around with the launcher and it will interesting to see where it goes from here. After all, numbers matter a lot.
