Passport and Visa (CPV) division of the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India has released their mPassport Seva app for Windows Phone devices. This app will offer a wide variety of services to smartphone users such as Passport application status tracking, locating the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) and general information on various steps involved in obtaining a Passport.
Even though you won’t be able to able to apply for a new passport and other advanced functions, it will come handy to check the status when you are waiting for your passport approval process.
