A year ago we wrote that audiophile favourite media player Foobar2000 was raising money to bring their app to mobile devices, including Windows Phone.
Now the company has delivered, with Foobar2000 now in open beta available to download.
The multi-format player supports MP3, M4A, FLAC, Musepack, WavPack, Ogg Vorbis, Opus and also WAVE, WAVE64, AIFF, AU, SND, 8SVX and can stream and download from UPnP media servers.
The app features:
- Plays music!
- Supported formats include: MP3, M4A, FLAC, Musepack, WavPack, Ogg Vorbis, Opus
- Streams and downloads music from UPnP media servers
- Supports ReplayGain for automatic playback volume adjustment
