MixRadio today released a minor update for its official Windows Phone app. As it’s a minor update, it doesn’t introduce any new feature. However, the update packs bug fixes and the traditional performance improvements – although the app doesn’t seem any faster.

It’ll be interesting to see if MixRadio updates its Windows Phone app with new features in the coming months as the service is now owned by Line. The service now has an app for Android, as well as iOS. MixRadio previously stated that, “We love Windows, We love Lumia”.

The service may be going cross platform, but Lumia is a part of that future. Windows Phone users can rest assured they won’t be treated as second-hand citizens or ignored when feature updates come out. When we approached the issue directly, we were answered with an equal directness, Windows users will “still see all the best features MixRadio has to offer on the Lumia” presumably alongside iOS and Android users.

The latest update for MixRadio is now live on the Windows Phone Store and you can grab it from here.
