Recently, Microsoft announced a major update coming to Minecraft on Windows 10. Today at Minecon, the company has revealed some more details about the upcoming major update for Minecraft on Windows 10, Pocket Edition, and Gear VR Edition. Firstly, the Boos Update will obviously bring boss battles to these Minecraft editions — however, in addition to boss battles, Minecraft is also bringing Add-Ons:

Also arriving in the Boss Update will be the first iteration of Add-Ons. With Add-Ons, you’ll be able to experiment with remixing components of entities or characters in the game.  Worlds you create with Add-Ons can be shared with others directly or uploaded to your Realms and accessed anytime, anywhere.

The upcoming update for Minecraft will also bring the ability to use Xbox Wireless Controller on the Gear VR and Windows 10. And lastly, Microsoft is also bringing support for Oculus Touch Input to those who use VR on Windows 10. According to the company, the update will be coming on October 18th.
