Microsoft's Xbox Smartwatch caught on video

A few days ago we posted new pictures of Microsoft’s Xbox-branded wearable, which features a 1.5 inch display, heart rate monitor, GPS tracker and work-out apps.

The device was leaked by Hikari Calyx on twitter, and would likely have been an early design competitor to the similar but less fully featured Nokia smartwatch, which was later replaced by the Microsoft Band, which did briefly make it to market.

Now the same person has posted a 6-minute video of the device in action above.

The video shows the watch to be rather unstable at this point, but does show a UI very similar to the Microsoft Band, and that the device was very fitness focussed, suggesting not much was lost from the Band succeeding it in the end.
