With its Q2 2016 (fiscal year) earnings report, Microsoft revealed some interesting stats about Xbox Live. The company announced that Xbox Live’s monthly active users grew by 30% YoY. The software giant also announced that the platform now has 48 million active users, which is, of course, very impressive. Kevin Turner, chief operating officer at Microsoft, stated:
“It was a strong holiday season for Microsoft highlighted by Surface and Xbox. Our commercial business executed well as our sales teams and partners helped customers realize the value of Microsoft’s cloud technologies across Azure, Office 365 and CRM Online.”
