Microsoft’s Arrow Launcher team is back once again with the usual set of updates. The company today released Arrow Launcher version 3.8 to beta testers with a bunch of new features and improvements to the Android launcher. The changes aren’t anything major by any means, but they are still quite interesting.

Arrow Launcher will now feel a bit more “personal” for those with their Microsoft Account connected to the launcher. Arrow Launcher now shows your Microsoft Account’s profile picture on the main feed, and you can also access your Microsoft Account info and settings right from there with a single click.

In addition to that, Microsoft has also redesigned the News and Calendar card with some improvements. The Calendar card has been updated to display your upcoming appointments, while the News card got a general UI revamp.

Here’s the full changelog:

  • Me avatar: Personalize your -1 page with a Microsoft Account avatar
  • News: the redesigned News card
  • People: See your Outlook contacts in People card and let Arrow help you merge duplicate contacts.
  • Calendar: Redesigned Calendar card shows your upcoming appointments.
  • Setting: Reset Arrow settings to default settings
  • Folder spacing/layout improvements
  • Additional bug fixes

Arrow Launcher’s latest features are only available to beta testers at the moment, but it’ll get rolled out to all users in a few weeks time. If you want to get it early, you can sign-up for the beta program here.
