At Build 2017, Microsoft today announced some significant updates coming to the Microsoft Bot Framework. One of the newest features of the Microsoft Bot Framework is a new feature called Adaptive Cards. With Adaptive Cards, developers can write cards for their app or service and make sure they look great across all platforms using the exact same syntax. Adaptive Cards are supported across multiple apps and services, including Skype, Cortana, Bing, and more.

Microsoft is also implementing a new payment request API into the Bot Framework which will allow developers to add shopping features to their bots and the API will help them provide a fast and easy checkout experience for users.
