Microsoft today released updates for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote iOS apps. This update includes support for Outlook and more. Find the full change log below.
What’s New in v1.12:
Word:
• Change case: quickly change selected text to uppercase, lowercase, sentence case, and more.
• Send with Outlook: send a document as an Outlook email attachment and return to Word.
• Integration with Outlook: edit a document attached to an Outlook email message. When you’re done, the updated document will be attached to a new email message, ready to send.
Excel:
• Send with Outlook: send a spreadsheet as an Outlook email attachment and return to Excel
• Integration with Outlook: edit a spreadsheet attached to an Outlook email message. When you’re done, the updated spreadsheet will be attached to a new email message, ready to send.
PowerPoint:
• Comments task pane: view comments next to the slide in a task pane.
• Send with Outlook: send a presentation as an Outlook email attachment and return to PowerPoint.
• Integration with Outlook: edit a presentation attached to an Outlook email message. When you’re done, the updated presentation will be attached to a new email message, ready to send.
OneNote: (v2.15)
PAGE PREVIEWS GO ON A DIET: A number of users wanted to disable page previews. We listened. Same great notes, 50% less vertical space.
“BEHIND THE SCENES” IMPROVEMENTS: Many things changed to make OneNote better. Bugs are fixed and interactions are snappy-er. We promise it to keep it that way.
