Microsoft has released a new update for its SMS app for Android with some new features. The latest update bumps the app to v1.1.50 and brings the ability to track your financials like Bank accounts and E-Wallets. The latest feature captures the important data like amount credited or debited and the available balance to create a virtual passbook with the list of deposits and withdrawals. The company also added the ability to set extra security and works perfectly with Fingerprint scanner when someone tries to access the accounts section of the app.

For those unfamiliar, SMS Organizer is a Microsoft Garage app developed by the company and released to the Indian audiences back in January. It declutters your inbox and classifies the messages based on whether they are personal, transaction or promotional. The app is particularly useful there due to the high prevalence of SMS spam in the region.

You can head below to check out the official changelog of the app

  • Support for Accounts and Transactions
  • Option to enable security to Accounts view
  • Added support for more patterns for Reminders
  • Improved SMS classification
  • Bug fixes

You can download the app from the Google Play Store below. Do note that the app is still in beta phase so you might experience some issues.
