Microsoft Updates Bing 2D and 3D Maps App In Windows Store With New Features

Microsoft today updated their Bing Maps and Bing Maps Preview app for Windows 8.1 devices in Windows Store. Bing Maps offers regular 2D maps while Bing Maps Preview offers 3D maps of the locations. Find the new features in these apps below.

Bing Maps:

• Search box and map controls always visible in the app along with other improvements to the app look and feel.

• Improved search experience with autosuggest and improved results.

• Integration of ratings and reviews from Yelp, TripAdvisor and other providers.

• Favorites now available across PCs and Windows Phone 8.1

• Transit and driving directions availability in additional markets
