Microsoft recently became the 2nd most valuable company in the world based on the market capital. Microsoft’s market capital is now at $408 billion. ExxonMobile was previously the world’s second-largest company, but due to five-month drop in oil prices has cut $47 billion from its market value. Microsoft’s stock climbed 33% this year, which equals almost $100 billion to its market capital.

Apple still remains the world’s biggest company. It is currently valued around $661 billion!
