Microsoft today confirmed their plans to start selling Surface devices in India from next year. Satya Nadella specifically mentioned that Surface Pro 4 device will be available by January 2016.

Based on previous reports, Surface Pro 3 and the upcoming Surface Pro 4 devices will be available for sale in Microsoft Priority Resellers from Feb 2016. Former Nokia Priority showrooms have been now converted into Microsoft Priority Reseller stores. These stores are currently selling Lumia devices and have several Windows 10 laptops from other OEMs to promote Windows ecosystem. In future, Microsoft is also planning to sell 2-in-1 and convertible devices from other OEMs in their stores in India.
