Windows IoT

Earlier this year, Microsoft announced support for Windows 10 IoT on Intel Galileo. Just after 6 months of the announcement, Microsoft has now decided to drop the support. Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 IoT Core does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 10 IoT Core. The support for Windows on Galileo will end on November 30, 2015.

What you can do with your existing projects on Galileo?

Wiring support is now available on Windows 10 IoT Core running on Raspberry Pi 2. This allows you to migrate your existing Galileo projects to Windows 10 IoT Core.
