Microsoft to discontinue Microsoft Invoicing and Outlook Customer Manager for SMB users

Back in 2017, Microsoft unveiled several new services for Office 365 Business Premium users. The new services were targeted towards small-to-medium sized customers and they were part of Microsoft 365 Business offering as well. Last year, Microsoft discontinued some of the services that were announced. Now, Microsoft is killing Microsoft Invoicing and Outlook Customer Manager services as well.
- Microsoft Invoicing will be retired from February 8, 2020.
- Outlook Customer Manager will be retired from June 30, 2020.
Microsoft Invoicing helped users in quickly create professional-looking estimates and invoices while the Outlook Customer Manager provided simple customer management for small businesses, right within Outlook.
Microsoft is also announcing new offers for customers who will be affected by this change, read about it below.
To help customers who have been using Microsoft Invoicing, we’ve worked with Invoice2Go to offer the eligible customers a special one-year subscription. Similarly, to help customers who have been using Outlook Customer Manager to track customers and deals, we’ve worked with Nimble CRM to offer eligible customers a free one-year subscription. Customers will receive a unique promo code to take advantage of these offers.
