Microsoft is currently testing a new design for the Microsoft Account login pages. The new login page design will be found across all of Microsoft’s different services, ranging from Office to Xbox Live.

The new design is very much like the current design of the Microsoft Account login pages but a crucial difference here is the addition of the background image which you can see in the screenshot above. It is unclear whether the background image changes depending on the service you are trying to log into, but I assume that’ll likely be the case.

In terms of availability, the new Microsoft Account login page design isn’t available to all users at the moment. In fact, Microsoft seems to be testing the new design with a small group of users at the moment. However, Microsoft’s Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Capossela today confirmed the new “simpler and easier” login page on Twitter which means it will likely start rolling out to everyone pretty soon.

We’ll let you know once the new design starts rolling out to all users.
