Xbox Cloud Game Streaming China

Microsoft is now testing a cloud game streaming service in China for Xbox One users. Microsoft is partnering with Square Enix and Ubitus to bring this service to Xbox users. They are now signing up beta participants to test this service in Beijing, Shangai and Canton cities in China. And the streaming is limited to Final Fantasy XIII game alone for now.

Two years back, Microsoft said that game streaming is really cool and really problematic.

“It works way better than you’d expect it to. So managing quality of service, the tolerance people will have for it being crappy. Can you imagine, in this day and age, with the bad information around, and we can’t control the quality of that experience and make sure it’s good, or have to tell people they can’t do it?”

Hopefully, Microsoft has now solved some of those problems to make game streaming possible for gamers.
