Trello is teaming up with Microsoft to bring its service into the company’s recently introduced Teams app. Microsoft Teams now includes a Trello integration, which means teams can now easily access their Trello boards right from Microsoft Teams on the desktop and the web.

Trello integration on Microsoft Teams is very simple: all you have to do is add a new integration from the ribbon on a channel, login to Trello and then choose the board you want to add. From there, you can access everything you want on Trello — for instance, you can create a new card, see the latest activity on the board, archive cards, move cards, add pictures to cards, and basically everything else that you can normally do on Trello.

Trello is definitely is a substantial addition to Microsoft Teams. Microsoft also has a service similar to Trello called Office 365 Planner, and that’s also integrated into Microsoft Teams. Despite the Office 365 Planner, more teams are more likely to use Trello to manage all the different tasks in their teams because of all the different range of features provided by the service as well as the mobile apps which Planner doesn’t have at the moment.
