Microsoft’s Laptop Studio 2 was the talk of the town during Redmond’s Surface annual event this year, but Surface Laptop Go 3 still had its screentime.

“Surface has the highest customer satisfaction of any PC,” said Microsoft’s leader of the Surface product team, Brett Ostrum.

Starting at $799, the Surface Laptop Go 3 is a tiny notebook under 2.5 pounds that sports a 12.4-inch touchscreen and fingerprint power button. It will hit the market on October 3 alongside the Laptop Studio 2.

Microsoft also promises that this device will have up to 15 hours of battery life, which can be charged up to 90% faster than the original Surface Pro.

No words on the specification yet, but according to previous leaks, the Surface Laptop Go 3 will sport two CPU options: an Intel Core i7-13700H or i7-13800H, both with high-performance cores and eight power-saving cores. It will have three RAM options: 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB.

In the GPU section, it will also have three options: Intel Iris Xe, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 with 6GB memory, and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 with 8GB memory.

This is a developing story.
