Microsoft Store updated with another Fluent Design element

Microsoft today started rolling out a new update to the Microsoft Store app in Windows 10 for Insiders. The company recently introduced some Fluent Design elements for the app, and it’s today adding the Connected Animations effect from Fluent Design to app listings.

Connected Animation on the Microsoft Store is not too fancy for now — as you scroll down on an app listing, the app’s name along with the install button will show up on the top of the store app…and that’s about it. Here is the animation in action:

The new effect is only available to Windows Insiders at the moment, but it’ll likely get rolled out to more users later on.

Also, the MSPU app with Fluent Design should come out tomorrow — stay tuned for that!
