littleBits makes a platform of easy-to-use electronic building blocks empowering kids to create inventions, large and small. Easy to use, the Bits components snap together with magnets, so it’s easy to make alterations on the fly. The included 9V battery, re-usable case, and motorMate make it super simple to attach wheels, cardboard, and other materials to the DC motor. There’s also a handy Project Booklet with step-by-step instructions for eight great projects like the Art Bot and Three Wheeler. Microsoft Retail Stores in the US have now started selling littleBits kits. You can also order them online. There are four different kits, click on the respective links to find the store listings.
