With the full range of Windows Mixed Reality headsets now on the market and available in the Microsoft Store Microsoft is getting ready to launch a marketing campaign for the headsets this holiday season.

To kick it off Microsoft has created a small 15-second ad which appears to be designed as pre-roll on other YouTube video ads or as short segments before TV shows, which can be seen below.

The short ad does not attempt to convey the unique features of the platform but merely entices users to try it in person in Microsoft Stores. Interestingly Microsoft Stores do not appear at present to be offering Windows Mixed Reality demos but we suspect this will change soon.

Of course, if you know what you want you don’t have to visit a store. You can already order your preferred device here.
