Microsoft seals deal for another flagship store in Soho

We reported 8 months ago that Microsoft has been eyeing on a building in 300 Lafayette Street in Soho as the potential location for a second flagship Microsoft Store in New York.

At the time the deal was in the early stages of negotiations, but today The Real Deal reports that Microsoft has signed a lease for about 70,000 square feet in the building, leaving another 8,500 square feet is still available.

The building includes 50,000 square feet of office space and 30,000 square feet of retail space and could be dual-use for Microsoft.

While Microsoft is planning a second store in New York we are still waiting for a first Microsoft Store in London, which will hopefully finally open sometime this summer.
