Fake news is the scourge of the last few years, and Microsoft recently announced its partnership with popular News Rating website NewsGuard to help users spot this more easily.

This NewsGuard feature was rolled out to Edge for iOS preview users last year and Edge for Android beta a few weeks ago.

Today, Microsoft is rolling out this feature to all Edge for Android users. You can enable this feature by going to Settings-> News rating and toggle the ‘Display rating on address bar’ option.

NewsGuard uses journalism to fight false news, misinformation, and disinformation. Our trained analysts, who are experienced journalists, research online news brands to help readers and viewers know which ones are trying to do legitimate journalism—and which are not.

The update also brings a new  ” Close the browser ” option in the ellipsis menu and the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.

Download it here from Play Store.
