Last week, Microsoft announced that it is working on several new features including call recording for Skype for Windows users. This Call recording feature is now rolling out to Skype Insiders. With this feature, you can now record the Skype calls. Since this feature is cloud-based, as soon as you start recording, everyone in the call will be notified that the call is being recorded. Another highlight is that, call recordings combine everyone’s video as well as any screens shared during the call.

Here’s how to start recording your call on Skype:

  • Start your video or audio call
  • During the call, click More Options [+] button on the bottom and select Start Recording option.
  • You can stop the recording of the call anytime you want.
  • Once the recording is done, the recorded content will be available for everyone in the call for playback.

If you are a Skype Insider, update your Skype client to 8.27.76.16 to try out this new feature.
