Microsoft releases new firmware update for Surface 3 with battery and security improvements

Microsoft pleasantly surprised everyone today by releasing a new firmware update for Surface 3 device which was released more than 3 years back. There’s a new firmware for Surface UEFI on devices with Windows 10 Version 1703 (Creators Update) and up and it appears in the main to offer what Microsoft calls “battery stability improvements.”

The changelog reads:
