Microsoft readies fix for Netflix errors

As we said earlier, the Netflix app on Windows Phone 8.1 is broken for users of Windows Phones like the 730, 735 and 830. Initially we blamed the app itself for being poorly coded which we got from Microsoft’s official response on the support forums. As it turns out, it is a bit more complicated than that.

Individuals familiar with the matter have revealed to us that the Netflix app itself should be fine. Rather, some of Microsoft’s new devices have a bug related to drivers which prevent it from working properly and playing video. An OTA update is currently being prepped for release to address the bug. In this case, it seems the app developers are blameless and the issue lies with the Microsoft.
