Microsoft today reported its Q3 FY19 earnings results with results which beat analyst expectations.

Microsoft’s business appear to be up universally, and this includes the Surface division, which saw revenue increase 21% YoY and 25% in constant currency.

While not as hot as during the holiday season, the business remains a solid billion dollar venture.

The revenue was $1.329 billion, and this is the seventh consecutive quarter for Microsoft to hit billion dollar revenue with hardware sales.

In this quarter Microsoft introduced the new Surface Hub 2S and HoloLens 2, but the devices are unlikely to contribute to revenue until some time later this year.  It is however likely that the Surface Go continues to be a good performer while we await an updated Surface Pro for the back to school season.
