Joe Marini, Principal Program Manager for web platform on Windows Phone today tweeted about his first experience with Nokia Windows Phone.

His first tweet on this,

@joemarini : I just got a chance to try out one of the slickest looking #Nokia  phones I have ever seen. Soon, you will too! #wp7

When he was asked to rate the phone in the scale of 1-10, he rated it 8.

joemarini @samsabri Overall I would say an 8. Solid feel, good camera, responsive UI, and nice little touches on the body construction.

When asked about why he rated 8 and about the camera on the device,

joemarini: @samsabri Yeah, the camera was good, but I didn’t have optimal lighting. I’d like a larger screen too.

Based on these tweets, I think we must reduce our expectations on Nokia Windows Phone device which will be released this year. It may be a mass market phone and not a flagship device as we are expecting.
