Before the “Windows 7 was my idea ads” one of Microsoft’s most successful ad campaigns were their “Laptop Hunter” ads, which features supposed real people looking and finding value in Windows laptops rather than Apple ones.

Of course the wheels somewhat came off the cart when it was discovered the supposed real people were in fact actors.  The video above, from a casting shoot, seems to be designed as both a teaser for a larger campaign, but also to make it clear from the start that the people in the videos are actors, and will likely examine how useful Windows phone 7 is in their own busy lives.

The ads will debut at the Golden Globes event and are apparently intended to show what its brand is about via real people and their stories during other big TV events in the future.
