Microsoft planning to bring mixed reality content to Project Scorpio and the Xbox One in 2018

Along with the announcement about Acer Windows Mixed Reality Developer Edition headset, Microsoft today shared its vision to bring Windows Mixed Reality beyond the desktop and HoloLens. Microsoft today announced that they are planning to bring mixed reality content to the Xbox One family of devices, including Project Scorpio, in 2018.

Microsoft is already working with both in-house and 3rd party studios to develop mixed-reality content for Windows Holographic. It makes sense to expand its reach by making it available to millions of Xbox users.
