Earlier today, we reported about new entry-level Surface Laptop model. In addition to that, Microsoft has now started selling new entry-level Surface Book model.

Unlike the new Surface Laptop model, Microsoft has not changed the processor of the new entry-level model, instead they have reduced the SSD storage to 128GB from 256GB. But the good news is that they have reduced the price by $300, so you can buy the new Surface Book 2 – 13.5″ Display / 128GB / Intel Core i5 for $1,199.

This is a really good deal when you compare it to the equivalent Surface Laptop model. Surface Laptop with 256GB / Intel Core i5 / 8GB RAM will cost you $1,299 (for a limited time, you can grab it for $1099). For spending $100 more on Surface Book 2, you can get better battery life, USB-C port and versatile build.
