In a blog post today Microsoft announced new configurations for the Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2.
Microsoft will now offer the cheaper Core i5 Surface Pro 6 and Surface Laptop 2 in 16 GB configurations. Previously 16 GB was only available on the most expensive Core i7 version.
The option is only available on the 256 Gb storage versions of the PCs.
Unfortunately, the new options will only be available in the Surface for Busines portfolio, and initially only in USA and Canada, with other territories being considered in the future.
Microsoft suggests qualifying companies discuss possible orders with their local resellers.
