We already know about Microsoft’s anechoic chamber where Microsoft does sound related testing for its products. Now, Microsoft’s anechoic chamber in the Audio Labs has been awarded The Guinness World Record for The Quietest Place on Earth. The previous record was -13dbA, now Microsoft has achieved -20.6 dbA sound level. This chamber has its own foundation that is separate from rest of the building 87. The entire room sits atop springs.
