On their Conversations blog Microsoft Mobile has just posted the above graphic, telling users:

Microsoft is delivering the power of everyday mobile technology to everyone.

Come back on November 11, to find out more!

#MoreLumia

The handset does not resemble any of the current generation of Lumias, but does look like the recently leaked RM-1090, which is expected to be the Lumia 535.

That handset is expected to feature:

  • 5 inch qHD Screen
  • 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 chip
  • Dual-SIM
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB ROM
  • 5 mega pixels primary camera and VGA front camera
  • 1900mAh battery
  • Dimensions: 140.2×72.45×9.32(mm)
  • Weight: 145.7 gms
  • Frequency support: 900MHz,1800MHz,850MHz,1900MHz
  • Colors: black, white, gray, blue, orange, blue, green

It is somewhat unexpected to see Microsoft introduce a device so close to the holiday season, but it may be that Microsoft has realized the Nokia Lumia 530 was just too lacking to be competitive these days.

It does not however address the need for a real flagship for the west in the season when many people do not mind spending larger amounts of money.
