From time to time we get tips from readers reporting that a big name app is no longer available for Windows Phone.  We have learned to wait a bit before reporting it, due to the Windows Store often having glitches where apps disappear temporarily.

It seems Microsoft has now recognized the issue, if not exactly fixed it.

They have now made it easier for developers to report that they “Can’t find app in Store” without having to open a ticket.

This will hopefully make Microsoft more responsive to the issue, and possibly even offer an automated correction for the issue, though I think I would prefer if the apps do not disappear in the first instance.

The feature can be found in the App Overview section of the dev centre.

Do any of our readers who are also developers run into this issue? Let us know below.
