Microsoft is working on a new Fluent Design Task Manager for Windows 11

Fix Windows errors with Fortect:
Fortect can repair common computer errors by scanning your entire system for damaged or missing OS files and replacing them with the original, working versions. Optimize your PC in 3 simple steps:

  1. Download and Install Fortect on your PC
  2. Use the PC Scan feature to look up any Windows issues (including drivers)
  3. Right-click on Repair, and fix it within a few minutes.

Besides that, it helps you clean up junk files, fix stability problems, and get rid of annoying programs and malware traces.

Microsoft has been working on updating the inbox apps in Windows 11 to make them look more at home in the new OS, with both NotePad and Paint for example getting a re-skin.

Now the latest app to be getting the Fluent Design treatment appears to be the good old Task Manager.

Windows Developer FireCube has posted the following images on Twitter, which shows the new Fluent Design look of the Task Manager.

The images come from the latest Windows 11 Insider Build 22538, with the new design currently hidden. If you are intrepid you can however enable it using the following instructions and the vivetool.

It is good to see Microsoft taking a real interest in creating a coherent design for Windows 11.  What do our readers think of the look? Let us know below.
