Microsoft is working on a consumer counterpart to its Microsoft 365 Enterprise subscription for consumers.

A job listing was spotted by Microsoft watcher Mary Jo Foley confirming the existence of a Microsoft 365 Consumer Subscription.

The job listing for a Product Manager, M365 Consumer Subscription reads:

The Subscription Product Marketing team is a new team being created to build and scale the Microsoft 365 Consumer Subscription. This is an exciting opportunity to define the target audience for Modern Life, understand the needs of our customers, and develop consumer value propositions that drive business growth.

Microsoft’s 365 plan for businesses currently includes bundles for Windows 10, Office 365, and Azure for some plans.

It’s not clear what these subscription plans will include — we can’t imagine consumers will be wowed by Azure — and a bundled subscription for OneDrive, Office, and Skype is already what Office 365 offers

We’ll have to wait and see what Microsoft has to offer with his.
