Dark theme enthusiasts can rejoice, as it seems Microsoft has finally started working on a dark theme for the native File Explorer.

Noticed by Rafael Rivera, he posted some details on Twitter:

The feature appears to be one of those hidden Windows 10 ones which can be activated by Rivera’s hacking tool Mach2, with the command being mach2 enable 10397285 .

It appears the work is still in an early phase, going by the screenshot, but I am sure fans of darkness will appreciate the early signs of a more gloomy Explorer.
