Microsoft may be getting ready to end the Calendar Preview program, with ALumia uncovering a pop-up in the app announcing its end.

The pop-up reads:

The preview is ending soon.

The Calendar preview will be removed in an upcoming update and at the time the Calendar will return to its classic look and feel.

We appreciate all your great ideas and are excited to continue building the best Calendar user experience.

Alumia caught the message on video below:

The Calendar Preview app is only available to Windows 10 Insiders on the Dev channel and is based on React Native. It is not clear if this means this updated version will roll out to mainstream users, or if Microsoft will abandon the work, started in October 2019, and return to the now quite old UWP version of the app.
