Skype today announced that it is bringing free group video calling for Windows 10 Mobile users. The company is launching mobile group video calling to celebrate ten years of Skype video. Microsoft is allowing users to pre-register for the new feature, which will be rolling out to Windows 10 Mobile, Android, iPhone and the iPad.

Since the launch of Skype video, people across the globe have enjoyed nearly 2 trillion minutes of free video calls – from soldiers attending the birth of their child, to explorers connecting with students from the top of Everest. According to Microsoft, over 720 million people downloaded Skype on their Windows Phone, Android device, iPhone and iPad to date — which is, of course, quite amazing.
