Microsoft is introducing new people and groups card for desktop Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Skype for Business users in the coming weeks. This new people card will be rolling out to Insiders who are on Fast Version 1708 (Build 8326.1000) or later.

The card is part of an Office 365-wide effort to give you a simple and coherent experience in every Office app, on any device.

Just like before, when you hover over a contact’s name in any of the Office desktop apps, this new people card will card, and you can expand it to show the information live above. The new single-column design makes it easy to read and offers a quick peek at each section. You can check out additional contact details and organisational charts with one another click.
