Microsoft has hired James Staten as chief strategist for its Cloud & Enterprise group. He will report to Scott Guthrie who heads the Cloud & Enterprise group at Microsoft. He will work with other Microsoft groups and the corporate strategy team, helping to create connections between the cloud and other Microsoft products and services. He will also be working with CIOs to help them migrate to cloud.
James Staten has over 30 years experience in marketing, business development and corporate strategy with large tech companies and startups. Most recently James was Vice President & Principal Analyst at Forrester Research.
