We have heard, via PCworld.com, that the HD-500 display dock will cost around $99.
Now the device has become available for pre-order at major German online retailer Cyberport.de.
There the accessory is listed as costing 109 Euro including 19%VAT, which does correspond to around $100 excluding tax.
The accessory provides a USB-C port, HDMI port, DisplayPort, 2 USB 2 ports and a USB charging port and offers full HD output at 60 fps and is currently only compatible with the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 xl.
Continuum for phones allow Windows 10 Mobile handsets to have a PC-like experience when connected to a large screen, mouse and keyboard. Apps can run on both the smartphone and “desktop” simultaneously, though only one at a time on either. The feature can either mirror the current display of the handset or run apps in full screen desktop-style. Besides working via the dock the feature is also accessible by connecting wirelessly to a Miracast-enabled screen.
The product can be seen at Cyberport here.
