Surface chief Panos Panay and Windows hardware scientist Stevie Bathiche yesterday previewed the upcoming Surface devices at Microsoft Store in Seattle’s University Village. Both of them together spent almost more than an hour to preview these devices. When asked about the 8-inch version of Surface, Panos said that “multiple aspect ratios and sizes” Surface are in the works.
“We have a lot of great things that we are thinking about and working on, and there are multiple aspect ratios and sizes and awesome things to come from Surface,” he said. “That’s the best answer I have for you.”
Panos also revealed that the 4G LTE version of Surface 2 will be available initially on AT&T in the U.S. and Vodafone in Europe. He also confirmed that here won’t be a 4G version of Surface Pro 2.

- It’s an RT tablet with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 1,400×1,050 resolution display.
