Last month, Microsoft announced the general availability of Edge WebView2 for Win32 C/C++. With this release, developers can use it in production-ready Win32 C/C++ application, and they are supported across existing Windows versions. Recently, Microsoft announced the general availability of Microsoft Edge WebView2 for .NET (.NET 5, .NET Core, and .NET Framework WinForms and WPF applications) on existing Windows versions.

Microsoft also announced that WebView2’s Fixed Version distribution mode is also generally available for production applications. Microsoft is planning to update the WebView2 SDK approximately every 6 weeks.
